OPDS Guardianship Services
OPDS has personnel from both the UK and overseas. This has provided us with a wealth of knowledge to understand a variety of challenges faced by overseas students. These include the differences between the cultures, issues of homesickness, personal problems, how to manage finances and time effectively. It is also important for students to find time to relax and enjoy themselves in the UK while still focusing on their educational objectives.
Through our ongoing liaison with our client establishments, we keep in close contact with all our Guardian students and monitor their progress carefully.
We have established excellent working relationships with a range of schools, colleges and universities. We provide a specialist Guardian service for students.
For legal and practical reasons, many institutes insist that all overseas students have a guardian in the UK to assume responsibility for them, while they are studying here.
